Partnerships: Global Reach Local Impact

To achieve results on a worldwide scale, Survivor Corps works with and through partners. Our partners range from local community-based groups to regional and international organizations. We collaborate with hundreds of organizations and government agencies in countries around the world to:

  • Improve survivors' access to assistance.
  • Promote survivors' rights.
  • Prevent further victimization.

Survivor Corps forms partnerships with organizations that have common goals, an existing group of survivors they serve, and a track record of sound management and successful work. We form different types of partnerships based on the type of work that the potential partner does and the intended goals of the partnership.

Program Partners

Program Partners are organizations and associations that provide services and support directly to survivors, including organizations that provide peer support or want to expand their programs to include peer support. Survivor Corps provides program partners with training, technical assistance, and in some cases annual funding.

Campaign Partners

Campaign Partners are organizations dedicated to promoting survivors' rights and well-being through advocacy and participation in local, national and international campaigns. Together, Survivor Corps campaign partners lead a global movement of survivors standing together against victimization and violence. Survivor Corps trains and sponsors members of campaign partner organizations to speak for survivors where laws and policies are made, from the national level all the way to the United Nations.

Project Partners

Project Partners are local organizations and groups that collaborate with Survivor Corps on specific advocacy and service projects. All project partners receive training in Survivor Corps methods, communicate regularly with Survivor Corps on the progress of the project, and in some cases, receive funding and other technical support.
